Here we see the section house as a pile of cards sitting on the flatcar behind two of our younger volunteers. It had spent more than a year sitting on the ground under a plastic tarp. We decided this couldn't go on for long, or we would lose the structure entirely. It was put on the flatcar early in the 2002 season. By September, the panels had been unloaded and leaned upright against a tree behind the roundhouse.
In early November 2002, the shed was reassembled and roof work started. We expect to use it for storage of items that need to be convenient to the roundhouse, but we just don't want in the way.
In this July, 2003 photo, the shed has had its roof completed, a door installed, and most of a paint job done. We count this job as completed.
