Our next moving mission is being prepared for transport. Obviously this building is in tender shape, but we think it can be moved in one piece.
Well, we failed to get it in one piece, just too tender! Here you see two panels laying flat on the ground, the rest leaning against trees.
A new floor frame has been built and leveled. The trackside wall has been raised. On close inspection you will see that the sliding door had been boarded over after abandonment.
Oh, this is so much better! And this work was done entirely during the cold months.
A view of the North and East sides. Note a sliding door has been reinstalled. Roof work is still in progress, but the main activity for this day was the Spring Board of Directors meeting.
Track side view after painting.
A view from further south. The building is used to display the hand crank car, the 1905 FM speeder, and assorted original tools.
